Kantar Media strengthens its Audience Measurement Team in Switzerland: Matthias Hartl to lead our new offices in Bern.
Kantar Media, the world leader in audience measurement services, has announced the appointment of Matthias Hartl as Managing Director of Kantar Media Audiences Switzerland
This new role follows the company's recent success in being appointed by Mediapulse to deliver television audience measurement services in the country. The new service, which is due to go live in January 2013 and will run initially until December 2018, will deploy Kantar Media's internationally recognised 5000 series PeopleMeter and VirtualMeter technology to a national panel of 1,870 homes. Kantar Media will record accurate data on the panel's television viewing habits, including both linear television and online viewing.
Hartl will be based at Kantar Media's new offices in Bern, Switzerland, and will report to Eitan Kassif, Regional Director, Kantar Media Audiences. The office will employ 32 staff and extends Kantar Media's global footprint to over 60 markets worldwide.

Matthias joins Kantar Media following a distinguished career including in-house and consultancy roles in the public, IT, telecommunication and energy sectors.
